Excellent, spacious & warm (in winter)!
Been several times to this cabin, happy to book again!
Beautiful cabin!
We had a fantastic time! The cabin is beautiful, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, and the owner is very helpful and quick to respond to a question. You will not regret staying at this cabin.
Cozy Gem
We loved this cabin. It was the perfect size for the four of us and our dog. Great kitchen, nice living room and a large bedroom. Location is out in the country but not to far away from West Yellowstone. Just how we like it. Less people. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return.
Kozy
The cabin was comfortable just the one bedroom which was all we needed
charming rustic cabin
Bill was a great host and was very responsive to a small plumbing issue we had. The cabin is really cosy and great for a couple or small family, away from the bustle of Yellowstone but close enough. If you are into rodeos this is a great location.
Convenient Cabin for Yellowstone Visit
Location was great for quick drives into Yellowstone National Park, very close to the dining and entertainment options in West Yellowstone.
Loved this place!
This is the perfect place to come back to relax after visiting Yellowstone national park. It’s even more spacious then it appears in the photos, is very clean, the bed is comfortable, and the porch has a great view! From the window in the living room we saw deer, heard elk, and saw foxes. A nice surprise!
Close to Yellowstone
We loved the home and its close proximity to entrance to Yellowstone & house was clean and maintained.
Nice little cabin
It is as described and as the photos show. A historic cabin, furnished accordingly, but it has everything you need. No complaints. Would recommend to most of my friends.
We really enjoyed our stay
Sorry for not signing the guest log, we couldn’t find a pen… but we really enjoyed the property as it was very warm and welcoming. We will be back someday.
Kozy Cabin
This cabin is about 10 minutes to the entrance of WEST YELLOWSTONE. it was clean and the property manager was very accommodating.
Yellowstone for the grandson
Stayed three nights. Location is great and the place has more space then I thought it would.
Cozy!
I can't say enough about the PERFECT name for the cabin we stayed in! It was exactly that - The Kozy Cabin! It was so inviting, had everything we needed, bed and pillows were amazing, so awesome!! We will certainly recommend you. Thank you again to you, your family, and staff that made our stay super enjoyable!
Comfortable cabin and great location!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Kozy Cabin! Space was clean and property was nice and quiet, and just a short drive to the park entrance and West Yellowstone. We had a lovely time and highly recommend this property for a Yellowstone adventure!
Great place to stay
There was everything we needed and more. Comfortable and cozy for our couple get-away.
Wonderful place to stay
Perhaps not a fancy place to stay but everything was just what we needed. A comfortable king bed, sufficient heat during the cool season stay, full kitchen facilities and grill, even a dishwasher. It was clean enough that when wiping up a bit of water on the floor I spilled the paper towel came up clean. Quiet, lovely view, well supplied, comfortable. We were quite happy and satisfied.
Exactly what we needed
This was a great alternative to local hotels. Great price, very clean and well maintained. Nice quiet spot to rest after a day in Yellowstone.
Enjoyed our stay at the cabin
Provided easy access to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. Convenient and comfortable. Thank you!
cute cabin
very nice
Great little cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at The Kozy Cabin. We loved that it was stocked with everything you could possibly need, and so warm and cozy with the fireplace going. We cannot wait to stay again.
Excellent!
Had very nice stay. Property is very clean and we'll maintained. Had everything we needed.
Perfect honeymoon
The cabin was just perfect for our honeymoon, it was perfect location to everything we wanted to do and see. The cabin had everything we needed and Bill had already plowed the driveway so we were able to access the cabin easily.
good
it was good.
Kozy Cabin Stay
We had such a great time at the Kozy Cabin! A close stay to many wonderful areas. We did a lot of snowmobiling and it was a great cabin to relax at after a long day. We will be back!
Great location for snowmobiling
It was a great place to stay, it had everything that we needed and it was right on the snowmobile trail near the lionhead loop.
cozy cabin in the woods during the polar vortex!
a perfect cabin in the woods during a very cold wintry spell....we loved staying here -- it was quiet, dark skies at night, and close enough to West. we're avid nordic and alpine skiers and had a blast nordic skate skiing the Rendez-vous trails and the road into the Park. Alpine skiing at Big sky was totally do-able from here. We loved coming back to the cabin and having a fully stocked and functional kitchen to make food. We loved staying here and would re-book again and again when we return. Bill was close by and quick to respond to any questions we had. thank you for sharing a piece of your paradise with us.
Weekend get away
Quite yet close to hwy 20. Easy access to snowmobile trail heads riding from the cabin. Well equipped kitchen with new appliances. Overall good experience. Would stay again.
Kozy is the Kozy Cabin!
This rustic cabin is perfect for couples or small family. Everything you need for a stay...you just bring the food. Includes fully supplied kitchen for cooking, all towels, paper products, gas grill, and linens. Sleeps 4 with one bedroom king bed and a couch pullout. Really nice bathroom area. Super easy self check in and check out. Owners reply to questions quickly. Heated by gas fireplace...and adds nice ambiance. Cable TV, great WiFi and ample parking. Just a couple miles from West Yellowstone. We will definitely stay here again!
Excellent cabin
Super clean, incredibly warm, big well-stocked kitchen. Really comfy!
Great Location, Cute Cabin
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Super clean, easy access to the highway and Yellowstone. Heating worked perfectly. Didn't feel like we were using someone else's house. We just settled right in. Very pet friendly too!
Great escape
My son and I had a great time! So close to West Yellowstone and the park. So grateful for a rustic getaway with our dogs. Lots of amenities and even things you might have forgotten. I forgot coffee filters but was so pleasantly surprised to find them waiting for me. Bed is comfortable and shower is great!
Clean and comfortable
The cabin is clean, and comfortable, and has great log cabin decor and modern appliances, a hot shower, nice couch, of big kitchen, and fabulous king bed with great bedding. Bill was very kind, and we were glad we stayed. it is important to note that this beats anything located in town, and it is easy to head in and out to West Yellowstone from here.
Kozy Cabin
Quiet and Kozy little cabin with full size kitchen. Easy to get to. Perfect size for couples. Close to the west entrance. One of the few places that allows for grills. Bummed we didn’t use the grill due to weather.
Kozy Cabin
We stayed in this cabin for a week in Feb ‘20 and were impressed from the get go. This cabin is 10 minutes from West Yellowstone by vehicle and 20 by snowmobile. It’s located right off highway 20 and 1/4 mile from the trails. The cabin itself has a gas fireplace that puts out some serious heat and so does the bedroom heater. The bedroom has a king size bed that is really comfortable with a custom made wooden frame which is super cool. The cabin is loaded with custom touches and great views and you will not find a better deal during the winter months.
My husband and 2 grown children spent Thanksgiving Week at the Kozy Cabin. This was our (my husband and my) second time staying here. The cabin had everything we needed: Full kitchen, small appliances (coffee maker, blender, crock pot, rice cooker, waffle iron, toaster, can opener), table for 4, a king bed for us, a couch for one kid and a floor for the other :) Heater in the bedroom and electric stove/furnace in the family room. We wanted to spend this family time together, as both kids will be out of the house/college in the next few months. Cabin is very cozy (Kozy), but we were never in each other's spaces. TV (Dish), Internet available. We did a lot of walking in the neighborhood of other cabins/homes and took in the beautiful scenery. Got snow our 2nd day (through Thanksgiving); Bill brought up his snow plow twice and cleared the snow so we could get out if we needed to. We went into town only once, having gotten all of our supplies before check in. West Yellowstone is only a short drive away. The cabin is not fancy, but it has everything you'll need. We enjoyed our time again, and hope to be back in the summer.
We loved our time here. The cabin truly is cozy - the gas stove felt amazing on a cold day. The kitchen is spacious and generally well stocked. The bed is comfortable and firm. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. It was an easy drive to West Yellowstone and the park. The setting of the cabin is stunning and great to walk around the "neighborhood".
We loved the cabin and had a great stay, the cabin is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. A door between the lounge and the bathroom would be a great addition and if that's not possible at least a curtain. The gas heater in the lounge is great but the thermostat doesn't seem to be working.
The cabin was exactly as the name implies -- cozy with great heaters in both the bedroom and living room. Very well equipped with modern appliances. During our one week stay we usually has both breakfast and dinner in the cabin, and prepared picnics for our exploration of Yellowstone. If there a way to give 4 1/2 stars I would have. Our only concern with the cabin was the pullout sofa bed. Our six-year old grandson was with us and had no complaints. Having laid on it for only a few minutes, I believe an adult would have found it uncomfortable. Great location with easy access to Yellowstone. We're glad we stayed there.
Due to a schedule issue, the owner Bill, upgraded us from the Kozy Cabin to the 4 bedroom, wonderful Bears Den just up the road. The house was fully equipped with everything 12 people would need, but it was just my husband and I. Bill was a gracious host and went out of his way to accommodate us. We had a great experience and we would recommend renting a place from Bill in the future.
Clean property about 7 miles outside of West Yellowstone. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The cabin was rustic with all of the modern amenities. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the cabin & when we were there it was raining so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the deck. It is close to another cabin, but there is as no one there at that time.
Was impressed with it on line, it was close to the representation (pictures) just needs a little TLC especially the surrounding grounds, walkway, barbecue and perhaps some pest control. It was perfect for what we needed!!!
The reason I say almost is that the location is not tucked away in some wooded area - but still has that feel of a cabin in the woods. The cabin is spacious, having everything that was advertised. We wanted something that was close to a town and an entrance to the Yellowstone Park. It was just my husband and I that stayed - but there would be plenty of room for 4 people.
We had a good time in the “Kozy Cabin”. The kitchen, living and bedroom have a romantic atmosphere. Love to sit on the deck. But, we have but’ s.... we couldn’t get contact with Bill upon our arrival and he didn’t answer our text-messages. Sleeping on the bed-couch was terrible. Couldn’t sleep on it. It’s an old, thin mattress. We had to fold it and lay it on the ground before we could sleep on it. It’s really time for a new sleeping couch!!! The environment is nice and quite. A 20 minutes drive from West Yellowstone.
Kozy Cabin for Sure
Well if you ever need re- assurance about a very cosy place to spend a few days outside the Park, this is it.Called Kozy Cabin for a reason, and so nice to cook in such a well equipped kitchen, amazing stove, microwave, and all the usual kitchen utensils one would ever require.Bed very cosy and comfortable, bathroom with abundance hot water, TV with all the channels and what else...stay here!We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights.
Owner Response
Thank you, Jane! We're so happy that you loved the cabin. And we look forward to being your hosts when you visit the area next time.
Kitchen is huge and lots of items. Deck is nice, good view, but noisy next to highway. Hide a bed is bad, need more blankets, only one for or hide a bed. Master bed is huge and comfortable. Overall good place.
This is a nice little cabin in a nice neighborhood. It is very convenient to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone NP. My wife commented that the stove and pots were the nicest we had during our six week trip (this was the 8th VRBO property we stayed in on the trip.) This appears to be an original log cabin with a couple of additions...very nice experience. Two complaints: 1) There is no door on the bathroom, only a curtain. (Not shown in the VRBO pictures.) This makes for very little privacy...even for a married couple. 2) The recliner is broken and needs replaced.
Owner Response
No room to put a door. Will take a look at the recliner. I will fix or replace it
The cabin was very clean! Bill was very responsive to our query. Only thing was that the sofa bed was not in the best shape. We had to take the mattress and sleep on the floor because the sofa bed would sink in the middle making it hard to sleep for 2 people. Other than that, it was very enjoyable stay!!
Owner Response
Will look into that to see whats wrong or AI will replace it
This cabin is exactly what was expected. It is about 7 miles outside of West Yellowstone as advertised. It contains a full working kitchen and refrigerator. The gas fireplace and heater in the bedroom both provide ample heat. My only suggestion for improvement is to install a bathroom door. Our nephew stayed on the pull-out couch, and the lack of bathroom privacy was annoying. However, for a couple this property provides an authentic cabin experience to explore Yellowstone.
Owner Response
No room for a door so I have a curtain to close the bathroom off
Bill is very Accommodating and communicates very well with you when you have a request. we had a question on the propane gas fireplace and he was there within 30 minutes to show us how to use it. it was beautiful there, we enjoyed our stay. we would definitely recommend
Kozy cabin was everything we needed during our stay in early April. The Kitchen was stocked with awesome appliances, the gas fireplace warmed the house up quickly (which was necessary because it was still snowing), and is it weird to give the shower a 5 star rating? It is. Seriously, The Best Shower! The location was perfect, in my opinion. Close to island park, Henry’s lake and West Yellowstone. It was excellent cabin-living that was inexpensive. The landscape was beautiful, especially covered in snow. Hoping to return in winter to snowmobile. It was seriously perfect. Thanks to Bill for allowing us to stay with our kid and dogs. We had a great time.
Everything about our stay was great. The little cabin is rustic but very cozy. It's close to the highway but very few cars come up the road and we found nice trails and a beautiful view up beyond the cabin. This was very convenient for visiting West Yellowstone.
This cabin is perfect in every aspect. The location, view, amenities, there was not anything we needed beyond what was already here. Absolutely will stay here again.
Stayed here for a fall trip and it was the perfect size for my husband and I, as well as our 2 year old golden retriever. Very close to entrance of West Yellowstone and it had everything you would need for a week stay; cooking supplies, cable, etc. if we get a chance to make it back to Yellowstone we’ll definitely have to stay here again!
Kozy is exactly that. Clean and has all the things you need for a Yellowstone getaway. Highly recommend for small family or couple. Very close to center of town and park. Absolutely would stay here again. Great job Bill!!!!
The cabin was very clean and nicely organized for visitors with plenty of room to accommodate 4 people. The hide a bed was very comfortable and relaxing for nightly sleep. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances to make meals throughout the day. It came with a dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, crock pot toaster, and pancake griddle. The master bedroom is large with a comfortable bed and a heater that works very well. The inside definitely has the feel of a cabin with the wood log walls and fireplace. There is a nice view from the kitchen where one can see the mountains on the opposite side of the road. Proximity to Yellowstone Park really makes this an enjoyable experience and accommodation.
Very nice log cabin. Huge rooms, great fully- equipped kitchen, king size bed. Only 7 miles from town of West Yosemite and the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Dog friendly!!
Owner Response
That is West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park
Our stay was great! The cabin had everything we needed. The location was perfect! My husband and I slept on the fold out sofa in the living room and left the bedroom for my parents. My only suggestion is a sheet to cover up the old mattress. We only received a blanket and two pillows. Other than that everything was perfect!
Owner Response
There are sheets supplied
Loved this cabin! Such a great space and only took a few minutes to get to Yellowstone! We put good use to the grill outside and enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable! The fireplace was a favorite in the chilly early morning. There is a picnic table outside. Would recommend adding some more comfortable chairs for guests, as I would have loved to sit outside and relax more. Overall, great experience and highly recommended!
Single mom with 2 kids, came to Yellowstone and stayed in this GEM! My kids (12yrs. & 8yrs. old) and I had a great time cavorting around in Yellowstone and coming home to this warm, cozy and clean cabin. We felt safe and yet secluded enough with plenty of space between neighbors. There's a small creek running by and a wonderful deck to enjoy eating outdoors. Bill was extremely accommodating and easy to contact when needed! There was a lot of room for my kids to stretch and wrestle in and the King size bed was perfect for the three of us to sleep in! The bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get up in the morning! But of course, we forced ourselves to knowing there was the beauty of Yellowstone to tackle. Kitchen was perfect with PLENTY of counter space! Really can't wait to come again!
After a full day of exploring Yellowstone Park, this cabin is a wonderful way to end the day. The lodgepole bed is as comfortable as it is fitting for the cabin. A very spacious room, with a dresser and desk provides ample space to store luggage. The bathroom is well designed giving separate places to shower and get ready. I loved the kitchen; Bill has provided every kitchen appliance, or kitchen tool you will ever need. Very spacious, in fact the room became the workout room for our adult daughter to do exercises without getting in the way. The living area was spacious and very inviting. We couldn't find the Kozy Cabin lacking in any manner. I look forward to going back and spending more time at one of Bill's rentals.
